Year one
Grassroots response
Compassion giving and participant fees open the base and keep volunteer teams moving.
We arrive in the relief. We stay through the recovery.
Every active response begins with an 18-month minimum commitment — walking with local leaders from urgent relief into long-term recovery.
How we fund the long haul
The first year is carried by compassion campaigns and a small participation fee, helping us establish housing, tools, leadership and daily operations quickly. In year two, grants, returning volunteers and church groups help sustain the rebuild until local leaders can carry the work forward.
